Saxofinist Alfred Thompson won two Grammy Awards. First Grammy next to the famous Cuban jazz group “Irakere” led by pianist Chucho Valdés and the second side of the Orquesta Ibrahim Ferrer ofrom the legendary band Buena Vista Social Club™.
